Notice of ACEN Accreditation Review

The Masters of Nursing Science and the Post Master’s Certificate programs at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing are scheduled for a continuing accreditation review by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) March 1-3, 2016. As a part of that evaluation and accreditation process, we are notifying our major constituents that written and signed third-party comments on the nursing programs are invited by ACEN. Comments should be submitted to ACEN by Feb 24, 2016 directly to the attention of: Marsal P. Reunion 2015 was a time to celebrate Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s (VUSN) past, present and future. Founded in 1908, VUSN has more than 9,200 nursing alumni living and working in all 50 states and several countries. Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation Officer Visits VUSN

Dean Norman was delighted to host Carrie Conway, Sr. Program Officer with the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation. The foundation has generously supported scholarships at VUSN for more than 30 years. The highlight of Ms. Conway’s visit was the opportunity to meet three of the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation recipients: Bailey Monarch (Psych Mental Health), Madeline Crego (Acute Care), and Madalene Dawson (FNP).
